The goal is to maintain as much independence as possible without having to be bothered with household maintenance, yard care, extensive meal preparation and housekeeping. You can focus on social, life, hobbies, volunteering or whatever is your priority

Assisted Living Community

Much like Independent Living, Assisted Living communities are like cruise ships on land. They provide all the mundane tasks plus assistance with activities of daily living (ADLS). like bathing, dressing, and grooming. They will also provide medication management and incontinence care while still keeping you active with in house entertainment, events, arts and crafts, or trips out to restaurants and show.

For some the Assisted Living Care is the perfect option but for others that suffer from anxiety, are less social or feel more comfortable in a smaller footprint the assisted living care home fits the bill. They will still help with all activities of daily living, medication management, incontinent care and in many cases can care for the memory care patient also.
